On 20 October 2023, the Metro Iloilo-Guimaras Economic Development Council (MIGEDC) will hold a Talent Conference with the theme “UNLEASHING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH TALENT DEVELOPMENT IN METRO ILOILO AND GUIMARAS”.
This face-to-face event shall gather all the MIGEDC member-towns’ Local Chief Executives, Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officers (LEDIPO), Public Employment Service Officers (PESO), as well as National Government Agencies, Universities, and the Private Sector representatives of Metro Iloilo and Guimaras.
This conference will drive regional growth through talent development, addressing skill gaps for investments, and job creation. In store for the conference sessions are conversations on how MIG Local Government Units, Academe, and the Industry can collaborate to address the challenges in preparing our metro-wide human resource in the IT-BPO, Agri-Tourism, Innovation and Emerging Industries sector.
The MIG Talent Conference is a by-invitation only event, as limited slots are available for target participants. This event is also part of the Iloilo Business Week organized by Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry – Iloilo Chapter, Inc.
