Member-Local Government Units (LGUs) of the Metro Iloilo-Guimaras Economic Development Council (#MIGEDC) together with key stakeholders in the MIG growth area gathered to discuss common concerns, areas of collaboration, and responsibilities during the two (2)-day MIGEDC Strategic Planning Workshop.
The workshop was aimed for the council to re-evaluate its performance and organizational development needs, and craft the development roadmap to further strengthen the council and position MIG as a prime investment hub.
USAID Urban Connect was engaged for technical assistance in crafting MIGEDC’s roadmap during this workshop. USAID Mission Director Mr. Ryan Washburn personally witnessed MIGEDC’s commitment towards improvement of local economy and public service delivery in the region, together with MIGEDC Co-Chairperson and Guimaras Province Governor JC Rahman Nava, Cabatuan Mayor Elizalde Pueyo, Municipal Administrators, key LGU officials, invited resource persons and private sector.
