Mayor Sofronio L. Fusin Jr. formally welcomed representatives from Sweco, Swedfund, and local partners for the launch of the Metro Iloilo Integrated Public Transport System Feasibility Study.

This 8-month initiative is spearheaded by the Metro Iloilo-Guimaras Economic Development Council (MIGEDC) in partnership with Swedfund and Sweco, and aims to develop a modern, efficient, and sustainable public transport network for Metro Iloilo. The study encompasses Iloilo City and its neighboring municipalities.

This collaborative effort marks a pivotal step toward transforming public transportation across Metro Iloilo.
